Most all terms and conditions for personal loans and lines of credit remain the same. Click on your personal loan type below for additional information specific to each loan and line of credit.

Beginning November 4, when you are making payments to your personal loan and lines of credit:

  • Loan payments and payoffs must be paid in US dollars and accompanied by a correct account number or payment coupon.
  • Automatic payments previously established and initiated through Fidelity Bank Online Banking to debit an external account for payment to your Fidelity Bank loan will no longer be supported in Online Banking. Please utilize one of our many other payment methods listed below.
  • Automatic payments established by an authorization agreement with Fidelity Bank will continue uninterrupted.
  • Automatic payments established by an authorization agreement with Fidelity Bank will continue uninterrupted.

If you have an automatic payment established through another financial institution, you will receive notification outlining the necessary action to take to ensure your automatic payments continue uninterrupted after Monday, November 4.

There are several ways to submit your payment to Ameris Bank, beginning Monday, November 4:

  • In Person – Visit an Ameris Bank location and provide your payment to a representative. The loan payment will be applied to the loan on the business day it is received.
  • Ameris Bank Night Deposit – Place a payment or payoff in the bank’s night deposit and the payment will be received and applied on the following business day (that is not an announced holiday).
  • Ameris Bank Online Banking
  • Bill Pay or Other External Payment Initiated with another Financial Institution - When submitting a payment (excluding those for your mortgage and auto loan), you will need to reference a loan number and a note number. Unless you receive a separate notice from us, your loan number will remain the same and your note number will be 00001
    • NOTE: When entering your loan number into Online Bill Pay or for ACH instructions, you must use a 17-digit number. Therefore, input zeros before your loan number to make it 17-digits. For example, if your account number is 123456789, you will input this loan number into Online Bill Pay or for ACH instructions as 00000000123456789.
  • US Mail – Mail a check or money order to Ameris Bank Atlanta Loan Center at PO Box 105690, Atlanta, Georgia 30348. The loan payment must be received by 5:00 PM (ET) to be processed on that business day (that is not an announced holiday).
  • Contact your local banker to obtain a payoff. If you request a payoff to be sent to a third party, you must sign and submit this request in writing.

Loan Information

Beginning Monday, November 4, the term of your line of credit will convert to a five-year maturity, maturing on November 30, 2024. Payments to your line of credit are due 25 days after your statement is generated. For all variable rate loans tied to an index, the rate on your loan will change on the same date the index rate change is effective, with the exception being loans that are scheduled to change 45 days after any index rate change. All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Your Home Equity Line of Credit will not be affected by this transition. Payments to your HELOC are due 25 days after your statement is generated. All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Your mortgage loan issued by Fidelity Bank will not be affected by this transition. Your terms and conditions remain the same. You will receive a separate letter outlining updates for how to submit payments.

Your auto loan will not be affected by this transition. Your terms and conditions remain the same.
