Committed to a Seamless Transition

Cash management services will continue through Ameris Bank. An Ameris Bank transition specialist will be in touch with you to guide you through the transition to Ameris Bank. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns regarding your cash management services, please email treasury.services@amerisbank.com or call 866.616.6020 and select option 5.

Ameris Bank may need an updated cash management agreement(s). If so, we will contact the primary account holder to obtain the signed updated agreement(s).

For your account security, Ameris Bank Business Online Banking users will be required to use an advanced authentication method to securely process ACH and online wire transactions. Ameris Bank will issue a secure token to be used when conducting ACH and wire transactions – you will use the same token to process both ACH and online wire transfers. You will receive this security token when you are onboarded by a treasury specialist, no later than Friday, November 1.

Cash Management Services

This service will continue within Ameris Bank Business Online Banking and the cut-off time for processing at Ameris Bank will be 4:00 PM (ET) Monday - Friday.

Important times:

  • Friday, November 1 at 4:00 PM (ET): The final cut-off time for ACH origination through Fidelity Bank.
  • Friday, November 1 at 4:00 PM (ET) – Monday, November 4 at 8:00 AM (ET): ACH origination through Fidelity Bank will not be available; however, all previously scheduled ACH transactions to occur during this time will process uninterrupted.
  • Monday, November 4: ACH services start through Ameris Bank Online Banking.

Automatically transitioning:

  • Primary and secondary user identifications
  • Limits and existing ACH templates identified within your Fidelity Bank Online Banking profile as of Friday, September 20

The Preview Period – starts Monday, October 7.

  • Early preview access to Ameris Bank Business Online Banking and ACH services.
  • For your security, look for a separate notification with login credentials.
  • During this time, review information and templates that transitioned over, create new templates, make edits to templates, and reschedule all recurring ACH transactions.
  • You will not be able to send files using these templates or upload ACH files until Monday, November 4.

TRANSITION TIP:

Any ACH activity added, changed or deleted within Fidelity Bank Online Banking after Friday, September 20, will not automatically transition to Ameris Bank Business Online Banking. Please take note of these modifications and make the updates during the Ameris Bank Business Online Banking Preview Period, which starts on October 7.

Merchant Services will not be affected by this transition. Continue to use this service as normal.

Continue to use your current night deposit bag and keys through Friday, November 1 at 8:00 AM (ET). Beginning Monday, November 4, Ameris Bank representatives will begin to issue new Ameris Bank Night Deposit agreements, bags and keys.

This service will continue within Ameris Bank Business Online Banking. Starting Monday, November 4, the processing time for Domestic Wires and International Wires (US Dollars) is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (ET) and for International Foreign Exchange Wires is 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (ET).

Important times:

  • Friday, November 1 at 5:00 PM (ET): You will no longer be able to send online wires through Fidelity Bank.
  • Monday, November 4: Send online wires through Ameris Bank Business Online Banking.

Automatically transitioning:

  • Online wire templates identified within your Fidelity Bank Online Banking profile as of Friday, September 20.

  • For your security, look for a separate notification with login credentials
  • During this time, review and edit templates that transitioned over, schedule future online wire transfers and create recurring online wire templates to use on Monday, November 4.

Any online wires added, changed or deleted within Fidelity Bank Online Banking after Friday, September 20, will not automatically transition to Ameris Bank Business Online Banking. Please take note of these modifications and make the updates during the Ameris Bank Business Online Banking Preview Period, which starts on October 7.

Positive Pay services will continue after the transition to Ameris Bank is complete. Beginning Monday, November 4, the time frame for making decisions on questionable transactions will be 9:00 AM (ET) – 3:00 PM (ET).

Remote Business Deposit will not be affected by this transition. Continue to use this service as normal.

In 2020, we will provide your business with new hardware and software for remote processing. If this is needed, you will not incur any fees or charges, you will know well in advance of any changes taking place, and a technician will assist you in the transition.
